Forgive me for being so removed as of late. I have been busy, busy, busy (and still am) moving into my new house. (I had forgotten just how much of a pain in the ass the moving process is... OMG!! I hate to admit it, but I'd be up Shit Creek without a paddle was it not for Jose lol)
Anyway, I haven't had any time for Facebook and Twitter, or even Pinterest, but here are a few updates:
- My appointment at Cleveland Clinic is *finally* tomorrow. I feel like I've been waiting for an eternity, but it's only been 2 months. I am very ready to get this over and done with so I know what I'm dealing with in terms of my breasts. I'm praying I'm cancer-free, but am as mentally prepared as one can be for the alternative. (I'm not sure a woman can ever be prepared for something like this.)
- We've been working on more shows for Cave Chaos and will be back on the air September 10th! We're still planning to go live again soon so I'll keep you updated on that as well.
My youngest is now in high school... I can hardly believe it. It seems like only yesterday she was sneaking into my bedroom to sleep with me at night and now here she is in 9th grade, dating the quarterback of the football team (her first serious boyfriend) and planning a career in fashion. When Jade was little, I would get so annoyed when she'd sneak into my bedroom and manage to take up 3/4 of the bed with her tiny little body. I remember her saying to me, "Mommy, one day I will be be all growed up and you will be sad because I don't sweep in here no more." (You were right, baby; I miss my snuggle bunny.)- As I've stated before, I won't be attending RomantiCon® this year, but hopefully I'll be mentally and physically in shape enough to be there in 2013. I envy the hell out of everyone going! We've got a great group of guys for you this year and soooo much to do and see.
That's it for now. If all goes well tomorrow then I'll resume writing in celebration of it! If not, well, we'll have to wait and see what fate has in store. Send me those prayers and good vibes... there's no such thing as too much in that department :-)
